Drew Brandt, 73, died in the wreck. He was airlifted from the crash scene to University Hospital in Louisville and was pronounced dead at the hospital, according to the Hardin County Sheriff\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n
One of the vehicles involved was a dump truck driven by 68 year-old Kenneth Brown of Brandenburg. He was uninjured, according to authorities.<\/p>\n
A juvenile female also was seriously injured in the crash and transported to Hardin Mem\u00ador\u00adial Hospital in Elizabethtown and once stabilized was airlifted to University Hospital in serious con\u00addition.<\/p>\n
There were no passengers in any of the vehicles.<\/p>\n
According to the Hardin County Sheriff\u2019s Office, alcohol is not believed to have been involved in the crash. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.<\/p>\n
Hardin County Sher\u00adiff\u2019s Office was assisted by Kentucky State Police, Elizabethtown Police De\u00adpart\u00adment, Hardin County EMS, Rineyville Fire Department and the Radcliff Fire De\u00adpart\u00adment\u2019s rescue squad.
