\nA two vehicle accident claimed the life of a Vine Grove woman Thursday morning (1\/14) along Kentucky 313 known as the Joe Prather Highway at the Meade\/ Hardin County Line.<\/p>\n
\nA two vehicle accident claimed the life of a Vine Grove woman Thursday morning (1\/14) along Kentucky 313 known as the Joe Prather Highway at the Meade\/ Hardin County Line.<\/p>\n
According to Kentucky State Police, the accident happened around 7:15 am when a 2012 Dodge van driven by 41 year-old Christopher Simpson of Vine Grove was traveling north lost control of his vehicle for a unknown reason. The van crossed the center line and struck a south bound 2012 Toyota car driven by 51 year-old Melissa Cunningham of Vine Grove.<\/p>\n
Cunningham was pronounced dead at the scene by the Hardin County Coroner. Simpson was airlifted to University of Louisville Hospital with non life threatening injuries. State Police was assisted at the scene by the Vine Grove and Radcliff Fire Departments, Radcliff Police, and Hardin County EMS.
