During the discussion, it was noted that currently there isn&#8217;t a enforcement on developers to include a plan and the issue has been a rare occurrence in most aspects of recent development except for a when the Four Oaks residents voiced concern of landscaped buffer zones related adjoined commercial retail businesses. The council took the point under advisement for future attention to the issue.<\/p>\n<p>In other business, Mayor Ronnie Joyner reported that the bonds were sold for the new waste water treatment plant and the proceeds have already been transferred into the city&#8217;s account. The related loans at Meade County Bank has been paid and the project is well underway immediately following the ground breaking ceremony on Friday (2\/5). <\/p>\n<p>Police Chief Brian Hagg reported that his department is investigation and review security footage after twenty cars were broken into early Monday along Armory Place. He is hopeful to release more details and possible footage in the coming days to assist the investigation. Chief Hagg reported that officer Cole Bevill has submitted his resignation effective this Friday (2\/12). The department is taking applications for fill the position. <\/p>\n<p>At the end of the meeting, Councilman Michael Kelly provided further discussion to implement additional parking for the businesses along Main Street by possibly exploring the use of city and county owned land to add marked parking in the area.
