Locally, area fire departments collected through roadblocks and fundraisers for the annual event. In Meade County, $80,299.36 were announced from local fire departments on Sunday morning. The department totals were:<\/p>\n
Flaherty Fire Department: $32,866.37
\nEkron Fire Department: $25,000.00
\nPayneville Fire Department: $12,264.63
\nMeade County Fire Department: $ 6,361.40
\nMuldraugh Fire Department: $3,806.96<\/p>\n
