It includes those battling cancer, HIV, or those who have had a solid organ transplant. In general, health experts found they do not produce an adequate immune response after two doses of Pfizer\u2019s or Moderna\u2019s COVID vaccination. Now, they are being offered a third dose.<\/p>\n<p>Next, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention\u2019s Advisory Committee on Immunization will meet to discuss their recommendations on booster shots.
