\nMembers of the local emergency services united Saturday (9\/11) afternoon to honor and remember their fallen brothers in the line of duty during the September 11, 2021 terrorist attacks.<\/p>\n

The ceremony marked the twentieth anniversary of the attacks, the images and impacts are still vivid to those who serve local community. The nearly hour long ceremony followed a silent parade of emergency vehicles from police, EMS and fire departments that traveled from the Meade County Courthouse in Brandenburg to the Flaherty Fire Station. <\/p>\n
