The motion was approved. The court approved and acknowledged the development of a Ag Conservation District between Old State and Old Ekron Roads. The voluntary act will preserve the agriculture use of the land. Magistrates approved the appointment of Michele Miller to the Library Board. <\/p>\n<p>The court reviewed and approved the job description and amended the pay scale for Administrative Assistant and Finance Officer in the Judge Executive&#8217;s office. Leslie Orey will assume the role to administer the county&#8217;s American Rescue Plan Act funding and projects. She will work with the firms Ross Sinclair and Frost Brown Todd for legal clarification related to the projects. The first items related to the funding will be to used for a one time payment for essential county workers, who meet hour requirements. The court also approved a ARPA and Local Fiscal Recovery Fund  Expenditure policy. <\/p>\n<p>In other business, magistrates approved the appointments of Rick Barr and David Masterson to the Solid Waste Advisory Committee. They approved to advertise a interim Solid Waste Coordinator, and a full time paramedic. The court opened bids on the architectural design proposal of the a new EMS Station in Payneville and eight new roll-off boxes for Solid Waste. Fiscal Court accepted architectural plans for a proposed addition to the E911 Center and Detention Center. The court approved a request to expand the E911 Committee from seven to thirteen to include additional representatives from all agencies of emergency services. They also approved a standard operating guidelines for the E-911 Center. <\/p>\n<p>Judge Stith said a work session would needed soon to discuss items related to a Property and Zoning Issues proposal and a couple of other upcoming business items. No dates were set for the work session. After a short closed session, the magistrates returned for action to receive potential funds related to a settlement in class action lawsuit related to opoids.
