The court worked quickly through a short agenda which included a the approval of a deed and transfer fees for just over a one acre of land from the Payneville Fire Department. The land will be used by Fiscal Court to construct a new building for EMS Station 3. County Leaders are awaiting bids for architectural design work for the project.<\/p>\n
In other business, magistrates approved a request from a employee to move from the County E911 Center to the Detention Center. They also approved the advertising of the position of Scale Clerk at the Solid Waste and Recycling Center. The court members also approved claims and transfers.<\/p>\n
Immediately after the special called meeting, the Fiscal Court conducted a work session where they discussed but took no action on various topics which included: county roads, possible potential projects, uses of ARPA funds, Derby Tank property, and various Planning and Zoning update items.<\/p>\n
