According to Meade County Jailer J.J. Scarborough, the inmate identified as 58 year-old Daymon Miller of Vine Grove, was observed by a jail deputy having a medical emergency on Friday (3\/4).<\/p>\n
Jail staff immediately called Meade County E911, who dispatched EMS and first responders to the detention center. Jail deputies performed life saving measures until Meade County EMS arrived and assumed care for Miller. He was taken to Harrison County Hospital in Corydon, Indiana by Meade County EMS, where he later died. Kentucky State Police was notified per Department of Corrections and detention center policy. Results of an autopsy to determine the cause of death remain pending.<\/p>\n
