\nThe Grayson County Sheriff’s Office is currently working several break-ins in the Caneyville area of Grayson County along Rabbit Flat Road and Caney Creek Church Road.<\/p>\n

These burglaries may all be related to one another and committed by the same person or persons.<\/p>\n

A common practice for these perpetrators is to knock on the person’s door to see if anyone is home. If there is someone home they may make an excuse as to why they are there and move on to the next location. If they believe no one is home they may go to the back door and check to see if there is an easy way in to the residence.<\/p>\n

A rumor was started people were being held hostage in their home and robbed.<\/p>\n

Officials say they have no reports of that happening.<\/p>\n

The sheriff\u2019s department has received numerous reports of a suspicious mini van being in the area.<\/p>\n

If you have seen this vehicle in your area and you think it may be up to no good, you are asked to call the Grayson County Central Dispatch at (270) 259-0303 and report it.<\/p>\n

Sheriff Norman Chaffins said this information has been shared with other law enforcement agencies and are asking our citizens to be vigilant. We would also like to remind our citizens to not open the door for anyone you do not know unless you are comfortable with the reasons they are at your door.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
