size-medium wp-image-4017\" \/><br \/>\nA septic-tank installer has been accused of illegally discharging an estimated 1,000 gallons of raw sewage into an Anderson County creek that runs into the Kentucky River.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>A federal grand jury recently charged David Giles with one count of discharging a pollutant without a permit.<\/p>\n<p>Giles, who works in the Versailles area, is licensed to install septic tanks, but the indictment says he doesn&#8217;t have a license to pump out tanks.<\/p>\n<p>The indictment says Giles dumped raw sewage over a steep embankment into Wildcat Creek after being hired to pump out six septic tanks December 2.<\/p>\n<p>Giles could face up to three years in prison if found guilty.<br \/>\nSource:
