The Chamber has received multiple calls from members about a company that is using their information to try to get them to purchase items.<\/p>\n
Meade County Chamber of Commerce is not selling any items or under contract with any company to produce any items for sale. <\/p>\n
The Chamber ask everyone to forward all solicitation emails to director@meadekychamber.org or contact information so they can pursue any actions that is needed to guarantee the security of their members.<\/p>\n
They believe the scammers are getting contact information from their online directory and disabling it will eliminate that access.<\/p>\n
The Chamber is a 501c6 not-for-profit membership organization and does not sell goods for revenue and all non-dues revenues will be generated through events.<\/p>\n
