\nThe Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch arrested21 year-old Kaven T. Eder, of Glasgow, on charges related to child sexual abuse material.<\/p>\n

Eder was arrested as the result of an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children investigation. The Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch began the investigation after discovering the suspect sharing images of child sexual exploitation online.<\/p>\n

The investigation resulted in a search warrant at a residence in Glasgow on November 3, 2022. Equipment used to facilitate the crime was seized and taken to Kentucky State Police\u2019s forensic laboratory for examination. The investigation is ongoing.<\/p>\n

Eder was lodged in the Barren County Detention Center and charged with three counts of distribution of matter portraying a minor in a sexual performance under 12 years old and one count of possession of matter portraying a minor in a sexual performance under 12 years old. These charges are Class-C felonies punishable by five to ten years in prison.<\/p>\n
