According to Meade County Sheriff’s Department, the accident happened at the intersection of Hill Grove Road\/Shumate Road and US 60.<\/p>\n
The driver of the passenger car was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Meade County Coroner and a passenger in the car was transported to University of Louisville Hospital for injuries sustained in the collision. The Driver of the tractor trailer truck was not injured.<\/p>\n
The roadway was shut down for approximately 4 hours while Deputies with the assistance of Kentucky State Police recreated the collision.<\/p>\n
Meade County Sheriff Deputies and Kentucky State Police were assisted at the scene by Meade County EMS, Flaherty Fire Department, Muldraugh Fire Department, Meade County Coroner\u2019s Office and the State Highway Department. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
