\nKentucky State Police is investigating a shooting that had occurred Thursday morning near the 100 block of Keith\u2019s Crossing in the Short Creek community of Grayson County.<\/p>\n
\nKentucky State Police is investigating a shooting that had occurred Thursday morning near the 100 block of Keith\u2019s Crossing in the Short Creek community of Grayson County.<\/p>\n
The preliminary investigation revealed a confrontation occurred between neighbors, 42 year-old Michael Baker of Falls of Rough and an adult male victim, over a dog. At some point during the confrontation, Baker shot the victim who was later pronounced deceased at the scene by the Grayson County Coroner\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n
The victim\u2019s body was taken to the Kentucky Medical Examiner\u2019s Office in Louisville for an autopsy. The victim\u2019s name is being withheld at this time until notification of next of kin.<\/p>\n
The case will later be turned over to the Grayson County Grand Jury.<\/p>\n
Kentucky State Police was assisted at the scene by the Grayson County Sheriff’s Office, Leitchfield Police Department, Grayson County EMS and the Grayson County Coroner\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n
