A second one was detonated in the driveway of a judge in Cherry Chase subdivision on Wednesday, according to investigators.<\/p>\n
Mike Hensley, is a first-term, second-generation Superior Court Judge who hears cases ranging from robbery to methamphetamine trafficking. He’s had a law practice for 30 years.<\/p>\n
The evidence recovered at the Hensley’s home was very similar to that recovered on March 7, when a pipe bomb exploded in the parking lot for the police department and City Hall.<\/p>\n
The second bomb exploded inches away from Hensley’s SUV. A witness to the March 7 explosion reported seeing smoke billowing underneath a police cruiser. <\/p>\n
No one was hurt in either incident.<\/p>\n
The incidents are being investigated by the Madison Police Department, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, the Indiana State Police Explosive Ordnance Destruction Team, and the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco Firearms and Explosives.<\/p>\n
