Bryan Henderson, 37, was reported missing Monday after family said he hadn\u2019t been seen since around 5 p.m. Saturday, according to Hardin County Emergency Management Director Joey Scott.<\/p>\n
Emergency officials and law enforcement were told Henderson was believed to be canoeing on Nolin River.<\/p>\n
Henderson\u2019s canoe was located Monday, but Scott said the search was suspended at 7 p.m. because of recent rains causing dangerous conditions in the river.<\/p>\n
The search resumed Tuesday by ground, even though the river\u2019s current remained dangerous.<\/p>\n
Mutual aid crews were back on river early Wednesday morning.<\/p>\n
Henderson was found at 5:30 a.m. Wednesday by canine, which was aboard a boat, near Valley Creek before it merges into the Nolin River at Star Mills.<\/p>\n
Assisting in the search were personnel with Campbellsville Fire Department, Shepherdsville Fire Department, Hardin County Tracers, Hardin County Search and Rescue, Kentucky Bloodhounds.<\/p>\n
On scene with county emergency management personnel was crews from Hardin County Sheriff\u2019s Office, Coroner\u2019s Office and EMS. The solid waste department also aided in the search with its drone.<\/p>\n
Henderson\u2019s cause of death remains under investigation.
