When that didn\u2019t work, he and Sumer Browning were seen helping themselves to a generator and other items from the O\u2019Neil\u2019s garage.<\/p>\n
Police said they targeted the home after stealing Rick O\u2019 Neils\u2019s truck from his job\u2019s parking lot in Jeffersonville, likely using the truck\u2019s registration to track down the address.<\/p>\n
His wife was at a chemotherapy appointment for one of their children.<\/p>\n
In court Thursday, the prosecutor asked the judge to raise the bonds for Alexander and Browning because of their lengthy records and boldness.<\/p>\n
Both were out of prison on probation and parole.<\/p>\n
Browning told the judge she didn\u2019t know she had an active warrant.<\/p>\n
Alexander didn\u2019t say anything. He was on mandatory supervision after being released from prison but had absconded from the program, which will likely send him back to serve out his sentence.<\/p>\n
Browning has been convicted of escape, tampering with a monitoring device, and theft in the past.<\/p>\n
The judge set both of their bonds at $20,000 full cash, with home incarceration if they can post it.<\/p>\n
They\u2019re due back in court next week.
