A Sheriff’s Deputy and Kentucky State Police Trooper arrived on scene and found 41 year-old Kevin S. Marrett lying on the front yard near the porch. Police said he was dead when they arrived from “apparent gun shot wounds”.<\/p>\n
The Ohio County Sheriff’s Office said the victim had been shot by a 17-year-old. Allegedly, the victim was shot by the juvenile while defending his father from Marrett, who was attacking him with a wood saw.<\/p>\n
The investigation is ongoing as they determine if the juvenile will face charges.
