Conn released on a $1.25 million bond, secured by his Pikeville home. Conn was ordered to wear a GPS tracker, surrender his passport and avoid contact with others involved.<\/p>\n<p>Conn, a former judge and a doctor were charged in an 18-count indictment last week, alleging they schemed to secure false claims for Conn&#8217;s clients, enriching themselves along the way.<\/p>\n<p>Prosecutors argued Conn might try to flee the country if released. U.S. Magistrate Judge Robert Weir said at Tuesday&#8217;s hearing he &#8220;wrestled&#8221; with whether to release him.
