\nThe Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch arrested 29 year-old Corey James Jarboe, of Owensboro, on charges related to child sexual exploitation offenses.<\/p>\n

Jarboe was arrested as the result of an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children investigation. The KSP Electronic Crime Branch began the investigation after discovering the suspect using electronic means to procure a minor online.<\/p>\n

The investigation resulted in an interview in Bowling Green on February 2, 2024. Equipment used to facilitate the crime was seized and taken to Kentucky State Police’s forensic laboratory for examination. The investigation is ongoing.<\/p>\n

Jarboe is currently charged with one count of procuring a minor by electronic means and one count of distribution of obscene matter to minors. Procuring a minor by electronic means is a Class-D felony punishable by one to five years in prison. Distribution of obscene matter to minors is a Class-A Misdemeanor punishable by up to 12 months in jail. Jarboe was lodged in the Warren County Detention Center under a $6,000 cash bond.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
