Officials said it is not safe to enter the first-floor parking garage either, so residents do not have access to their vehicles.<\/p>\n
Now, there are concerns that the building could collapse.<\/p>\n
The Louisville Fire Department has put in an order for emergency demolition, and everyone has been evacuated from the buildings next door.<\/p>\n
Arson investigators are still looking into a cause, but they may never find it because of so much destruction.<\/p>\n
It will be up to the city to decide how soon that emergency demolition happens.<\/p>\n
The Red Cross is helping residents with food and a place to stay in the meantime. Walmart also stepped up to help them replace clothing and other essentials.
