Trevor Branham has been charged with four counts of wanton endangerment and operating a motor vehicle on a suspended license. Recently released documents detailed what led to the March 1 crash.<\/p>\n
Witnesses told police they saw Branham\u2019s pickup speeding on the bridge, weaving through traffic before he struck a stalled vehicle stopped in the right lane. Documents said Branham lost control and crossed into oncoming traffic before crashing into the semi-truck.<\/p>\n
A police report says Branham was driving his vehicle recklessly with no regard for human life; putting himself and other drivers in serious risk of serious injuries or death.<\/p>\n
Two people in another vehicle were also hurt. There is no update on how they are doing or the driver of the semi. Police said Branham\u2019s license was suspended at the time of the crash- and he had a pending driving while suspended charge out of Indiana due to a speeding ticket he didn\u2019t pay from April 2021.<\/p>\n
Court records show that he paid both violations on March 4th of this year, just days after the crash on the bridge.<\/p>\n
He was also cited for driving with a suspended license in 2010.<\/p>\n
Branham appeared in court Friday and is out on a $20,000 bond. He is set to be back in court on May 15 at 9 a.m.
