Police said the carjacking happened around 9:15 p.m. Thursday in the 1900 block of Wesley Avenue in the City of Hurstbourne Acres.<\/p>\n
The owners of the car had posted it for sale on Facebook Marketplace. According to Louisville Metro Police Department, once the potential buyer got into the driver\u2019s seat, he began to drive the vehicle away.<\/p>\n
One of the people selling the vehicle grabbed onto it in an attempt to stop the fleeing suspect and was dragged several feet before letting go. Police say the victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to UofL Hospital for treatment.<\/p>\n
The carjacking happened in the same community where a woman was sexually assaulted in her home on the afternoon of April 18. No arrests have been made in that case.<\/p>\n
