John Bradley, a spokesperson for Louisville Metro Police, said officers responded to the 1700 block of West Ormsby Street on the report of a shooting. <\/p>\n
Police found a man and a woman who had both been shot. They were both pronounced dead on the scene.<\/p>\n
The victims were identified Thursday as 53-year-old Lorrie Hayden and 80-year-old James Jones.<\/p>\n
Police said Wednesday that a man wanted in questioning to the double homicide fatally shot himself during a standoff with police. No officer fired their weapon, and LMPD’s Public Integrity Unit is investigating.
