Mary Ellen Trent, 91, passed away at Baptist Health Hardin on May 11, 2024.<\/p>\n

She was born on November 18, 1932 to the late Marion Walter and Verna Rose Thomas Raymer. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Laverne C. “Dickie” Trent; sister, Viola Hansen; brothers, Sam and Jim Raymer; and two grandaughters.<\/p>\n

She is survived by…<\/p>\n

Four children: Rose Druck, Debra Powell, Danny Trent, and Randal Trent;<\/p>\n

Two brothers: Marion and Ken Raymer;<\/p>\n

Eleven grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 23 great-great-grandchildren, one step-great-grandchild and 3 step-great-great-grandchildren.<\/p>\n

A celebration of Mary Ellen’s life will be held at the New Brandenburg Baptist Church on Wednesday May 15, 2024 at 1 p.m. <\/p>\n

Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 3 until 8 p.m. at Hager Funeral Home in Brandenburg, with a special service by the Order of the Eastern Star at 7 p.m.. Visitation will continue on Wednesday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.<\/p>\n

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to New Brandenburg Baptist Church\u2019s Vacation Bible School Program in Mary Ellen’s memory.<\/p>\n
