Primary elections are now typically held on the third Tuesday in May of even-numbered years, unless otherwise provided by law.<\/p>\n
Kentucky voters must show some form of identification when arriving at a polling location to vote.<\/p>\n
State or federal documents showing the name of the individual to whom the document was issued and a photograph of the individual to whom the document was issued are acceptable.<\/p>\n
A driver\u2019s license is an acceptable document at polling locations as well as some documents issued by colleges and universities.<\/p>\n
Polling locations are also utilized now rather than mandatory precinct locations. Voters may vote at several places within their residing county.
