\nA pedestrian was killed in a crash Friday morning involving a shuttle bus outside of Valhalla Golf Club.<\/p>\n

At about 5 a.m., Louisville Metro Police responded to a collision between a pedestrian and a bus where Shelbyville Road intersects Beckley Creek Parkway.<\/p>\n
The Jefferson County Coroner identified the man as 69-year-old John Mills of Crestwood, Kentucky. Investigators said he tried crossing Shelbyville Road when the bus hit him. The bus travelled in the center lane meant for that type of traffic. <\/p>\n
Mills was pronounced dead on the scene. The LMPD Traffic Unit is investigating. Police reported no other injuries. <\/p>\n
PGA officials said Mills worked for one of the championship’s vendors. <\/p>\n
All Round 2 Starting Times were delayed 1 hour and 20 minutes from the originally published time. The play resumed at 8:35 a.m.<\/p>\n
PGA shuttles were stopped for about two hours but as of 7:30 a.m. they had resumed.
