\nA 13-year-old shot and killed in Louisville’s Chickasaw neighborhood Wednesday night has been identified.<\/p>\n

The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office said Daviawn Blackmon died from a gunshot wound in the 3800 block of West Broadway. <\/p>\n
According to Louisville Metro Police, officers were called to the 700 block of South 38th Street, near West Broadway, around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday on a reported shooting.<\/p>\n
Once on scene police found the victim, Blackmon, who had been shot. He was pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n
LMPD’s Homicide Unit is investigating the shooting. No arrests have been made.
