According to an arrest citation, 47-year-old Zachary King was arrested Monday on charges of rape, sodomy and sexual abuse.<\/p>\n
The citation says King admitted to having a sexual relationship with the victim over the course of a year and a half, starting when she was 15 years old.<\/p>\n
Kentucky Attorney General Russell Coleman\u2019s office says King was the executive pastor at LexCity Church. Video on the church\u2019s webpage showed King preaching as recently as March.<\/p>\n
King resigned from his position as pastor after he was confronted by church staff with allegations of an inappropriate relationship, according to the citation.<\/p>\n
He was arraigned in Fayette County Tuesday afternoon. His bond was set at $250,000, and he will next appear in court for a preliminary hearing on July 5.
