\nA detective with the Louisville Metro Police Department was arrested early Sunday morning after alleged drunk driving.<\/p>\n

Kyle Carroll was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol.<\/p>\n
LMPD said officers were called to the 2300 block of Frankfort Avenue where they found that the off-duty detective had hit a parked car. Officers could smell alcohol on Carroll\u2019s breath as they were questioning him and began to give him sobriety tests.<\/p>\n
An arrest report said his Blood Alcohol Content was 0.151. The legal limit is 0.08.<\/p>\n
Carroll is set to be arraigned Monday.<\/p>\n
LMPD released a statement saying, \u201cLMPD takes this situation very seriously and we are grateful no one was injured. The officer will be placed on administrative leave as we investigate further.\u201d
