Trey Anderson, 24, of Louisville, is charged with terroristic threatening, a Class D felony.<\/p>\n
A police report says Anderson sent threatening messages to the Whirling Tiger social media account on July 12. Many of the threats centered on race, sexuality, and the unhoused population.<\/p>\n
Feeding Louisville, a non-profit providing meals to the homeless, was scheduled to host a fundraiser at Whirling Tiger that same day. The event was canceled after the Butchertown Bar was made aware of the explicit and slur-filled tirade.<\/p>\n
Police eventually arrested Anderson on Tuesday. The arrest report says Anderson confessed to officers.<\/p>\n
Because Anderson\u2019s accused crimes happened online, the arraignment court judge said Anderson is not allowed to use a computer or phone to be on social media.<\/p>\n
Anderson\u2019s bond remains at $20,000 cash. He will be back in Jefferson District Court on July 25 for a preliminary hearing.
