The crash happened late in the night. Falls of Rough Volunteer Fire Department said on their social media that they responded around 12:20 am. on Sunday.<\/p>\n
The crash was between a pontoon with eight people on board and a bass boat with two people on board. Both people on the bass boat were unharmed.<\/p>\n
In a release from the Grayson County Coroner, the bass boat crashed into the pontoon boat, which was stationary with its navigation lights off.<\/p>\n
The coroner says the driver of the pontoon boat, 46-year-old David Stomberger of Crestwood, Kentucky, was one of the men killed. Eric Derloshon, 51, of Floyd Knobs, Indiana went overboard during the crash and died in the water. Officials said it took over 12 hours to recover his body.<\/p>\n
Officials said they are awaiting toxicology reports to determine if alcohol was a factor.
