Airan Hernandez Mendez, 35, was arrested back in 2022. <\/p>\n
Louisville Metro Police said the abuse started when the victim was six and ended when she was seven. He would allegedly take her to the basement for sex acts.<\/p>\n
The girl said he also made her watch obscene videos that included both adults and children. The victim told her grandmother and aunt, who then called police.<\/p>\n
In April, a jury found Hernandez Mendez guilty of sodomy, sexual abuse, and distributing obscene matter to children. He was sentenced Thursday.
