\nKentucky State Police responded to a single-vehicle collision in Meade County just before 11:30 a.m. Sunday (10\/20) that resulted in a fatality. <\/p>\n

The preliminary investigation revealed that 30 year-old Dustin C. Gray, of Bardstown, was operating a 2009 Harley Davidson motorcycle eastbound near the 4,500 block Garrett Road when, for unknown reasons, he lost control and left the roadway, striking a utility pole.<\/p>\n
Gray was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Meade County Coroner’s Office. <\/p>\n
The affected portion of Garrett Road was closed for several hours to allow troopers to reconstruct the collision.<\/p>\n
Kentucky State Police was assisted at the scene by the Meade County EMS, Ekron Volunteer Fire Department, and the Meade County Coroner’s Office and the Meade County Sheriff’s Office.<\/p>\n
The collision remains under investigation by the Kentucky State Police.
