Reginald Brown, 38, was sentenced Monday to 16 years and six months in federal prison for conspiracy to possess cocaine with the intent to distribute and possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute.<\/p>\n
The U.S. Department of Justice said in a news release Tuesday that Louisville Metro Police worked with the DEA Louisville Field Division on the investigation. Once Brown completes his sentence, he will be on supervised release for six years. <\/p>\n
There is no parole in federal prison.<\/p>\n
Brown was found guilty after a five-day jury trial. His codefendants have already pleaded guilty and were previously sentenced.<\/p>\n
On January 11, 2024, 43-year-old Clarence Stott of Louisville, was sentenced to 12 years and seven months for conspiracy to distribute cocaine. On December 18, 2023, 24 year-old Axel Diaz Hernandez, of Virginia, was sentenced to two years and six months.<\/p>\n
