Bommarito was sentenced to two years in prison on Wednesday, November 13 for first-degree wanton endangerment, according to court documents.<\/p>\n<p>Bommarito was initially charged with official misconduct and sodomy after Kentucky State Police investigated a complaint of inappropriate sexual conduct involving a female inmate in 2021. Despite pleading not guilty, Bommarito was indicted and arraigned on those charges in June 2023.<\/p>\n<p>Court documents indicate that on July 2, 2024, the official misconduct charge was dismissed, and the sodomy charge was amended to wanton endangerment.
