\nLouisville police have arrested a man who they said was using a child to get into the homes of senior citizens and steal from them.<\/p>\n

The arrest citation said 38 year-old Anthony Williams, of Louisville, used his six-year-old child to get inside 92-year-old William Clark\u2019s home in Pleasure Ridge Park on August 15. Williams asked Clark for a glass of cold water for the child.<\/p>\n
Clark went to get the water, he came back and didn\u2019t think Williams had gone anywhere else in his house.<\/p>\n
Once Williams got inside the house, he went to his bedroom and stole $440.<\/p>\n
Clark said he realized what had happened nearly 30 minutes later.<\/p>\n
Police arrested Williams on December 10 and said he admitted to the theft.<\/p>\n
The arrest citation went on to say Williams has done this approximately 20 times in the past, specifically targeting senior citizens. He is facing multiple charges including burglary, knowingly exploiting an adult, unlawful transaction with a minor, and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.<\/p>\n
This isn\u2019t the first time Williams has been arrested for his theft tactics.<\/p>\n
Police said his plan of action is to knock on the door and ask if the victim needs yard work done or anything else around the house. They say once Williams is able to talk his way into being let inside the home and steals items like tools, jewelry, cash, or anything else he can quickly take. He even admitted to stealing a wedding band belonging to one of the victim\u2019s late wives.<\/p>\n
Louisville Metro Police Department said Williams has a lengthy pawn history including numerous pieces of jewelry, tools, firearms, and other miscellaneous items.<\/p>\n
Police believe there are more victims out there.<\/p>\n
