However, while Jordan Fautz is admitting to the crimes, he is not exactly happy with the sentence the US Government is suggesting.<\/p>\n
Fautz is now pleading guilty to seven separate child sex crimes, including possession and distribution of child pornography, but the actual written agreement is still in the negotiation phase.<\/p>\n
Fautz was a religion teacher and worked maintenance at St. Stephen Martyr School in Louisville. By pleading guilty, he is admitting to taking students\u2019 yearbook photos and pasting them onto adult and child porn images while he was working at the school.<\/p>\n
Some of the victims were under 12 years old.<\/p>\n
The one point of contention for Fautz is the sentencing part of the agreement. The government is recommending a sentence of about 20 years. Fautz\u2019s attorneys say that is too much though and they are still working with prosecutors to come to a different sentencing term.<\/p>\n
Fautz and his attorneys will have until March 19 to renegotiate the terms of the plea. If they don\u2019t, then the guilty plea is pretty much out the window and the case heads to trial.<\/p>\n
If Fautz\u2019s attorneys and federal prosecutors do come to an agreement, he is most certainly headed to prison. The only question is how long will that be, but he will have to serve his entire sentence because there is no parole in the federal system.
