\nA Louisville man will spend 27 years in federal prison for drug trafficking. <\/p>\n
Chicoby Summers, 29, was sentenced Friday to 25 years in prison for possession and intent to distribute fentanyl, heroin and cocaine and possession of a firearm, according to a news release.<\/p>\n
Summers was also sentenced to two additional years, that will run consecutively with the 25-year sentence. <\/p>\n
Summers and his co-defendant, Jerlen Horton, were found guilty by a jury in July. <\/p>\n
Horton, 30, was sentenced in November to 29 years and six months for possessing and intent to distribute controlled substances and possession of a firearm.<\/p>\n
Summers and Horton were arrested in California after a two-hour standoff in Long Beach last August after nearly two years on the run. <\/p>\n
The ATF previously said both men are in the Victory Park Crips, a Louisville street gang.
