\nPolice have arrested a man after a woman was stabbed to death in Okolona on Saturday afternoon, according to Louisville Metro Police.<\/p>\n

LMPD Sgt. Matt Sanders said police responded to a stabbing in the 8000 block of Red Cedar Way near Outer Loop at 2:32 p.m. When police arrived on scene, they found a female with multiple stab wounds.<\/p>\n
She was pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n
Police said in an update Sunday morning that Jamie Belton was arrested and charged with murder. Belton was found by Kentucky State Police at a rest stop in Midway, Kentucky.<\/p>\n
He was booked at the Woodford County Detention Center.
