According to court documents, 30-year-old Corey James Jarboe was sentenced to 10 years in federal prison, followed by 10 years of supervised release.<\/p>\n
He used the internet to communicate with an undercover law enforcement officer who he believed to be a 14-year-old female, per the release.<\/p>\n
During those conversations, he knowingly attempted to entice the minor to engage in criminal sexual activity by making plans to meet in person for sexual contact.<\/p>\n
The case was investigated by Homeland Security Investigations Bowling Green and the Kentucky State Police.<\/p>\n
There is no parole in the federal system.
