Shatessa Manica, 36, of Shelbyville, was wanted on five warrants including possession of meth, abuse of a child and identity theft. She was thought to be on the run with her infant child.<\/p>\n
According to police, Manica has failed to provide medical treatment for her child and failed to attend court. Investigators said she travels between Louisville and Shelbyville.<\/p>\n
Chief Bruce Gentry of the Shelbyville Police Department, said Manica was arrested Tuesday (2\/04) after she contacted family members and placed the child into their custody. Gentry said the child is safe and in the custody of the state.<\/p>\n
Manica is being held in the Shelby County Detention Center without bond.<\/p>\n
Manica was thought to be with Antonio Turner, who police said is also known as \u201cDynamite.\u201d Turner also has active arrest warrants.<\/p>\n
