Haneef Kaleem, who also goes by Kalvin Irvin, is charged with assault, wanton endangerment, and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.<\/p>\n
Police claim 45 year-old Kaleem shot a man in the stomach, back, leg and arms in the 1600 block of Brashear Drive.<\/p>\n
According to court documents, one shot fired at the victim hit a nearby apartment instead. One resident said a bullet flew past him while he was in the kitchen.<\/p>\n
Before the shooting, police say the victim walked past Kaleem who made a comment about the man before shooting him. Surveillance footage from the scene allegedly shows Kaleem walking into a nearby apartment from the location of the shooting.<\/p>\n
Kaleem was arraigned Saturday morning and pleaded not guilty. He is being held in the Louisville Metro Department of Corrections under a $100,000 cash bond.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
