The Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch arrested 31 year-old Joseph Blake Bowling, of Elizabethtown. <\/p>\n
Bowling was arrested as the result of an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children investigation. The KSP Electronic Crime Branch began the investigation after discovering the suspect sharing images of child sexual exploitation online.<\/p>\n
The investigation resulted in an interview in Elizabethtown on April 10, 2025. Equipment used to facilitate the crime was seized and taken to a forensic laboratory for examination. The investigation is ongoing.<\/p>\n
Bowling is currently charged with ten counts of distribution of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor under 12 years old. These charges are Class-C felonies punishable by five to ten years in prison. He was lodged in the Hardin County Detention Center under a $250,000 cash bond and is scheduled to appear in court on April 14.
