The Hardin County Drug Enforcement Task Force said in a news release Monday that it executed a search warrant in the area Friday afternoon and arrested 48 year-old Marvin Brookins. The warrant resulted in the seizure of:<\/p>\n
17 pounds of crystal meth
\n54 grams of cocaine
\n16 Oxycodone pills
\nMarijuana
\nSteroids
\nBrookins was charged with:<\/p>\n
Trafficking in Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 2nd Offense Cocaine
\nTrafficking in Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense Oxycodone
\nTrafficking in Controlled Substance 1st Degree 2nd Offense Methamphetamine
\nTrafficking in Controlled Substance within 1,000 feet of school
\nPossession Controlled substance, 2nd degree Anabolic Steroid
\nPossession of Marijuana
\nPossession of Drug Paraphernalia<\/p>\n
Brookins was lodged in the Hardin County Detention Center under a $75,000 cash bond. He is scheduled to appear in court on April 25.<\/p>\n
The task force said Monday more suspects are expected to be charged in connection to the investigation.
