\nMembers of Meade County Fiscal Court met during a special called meeting Monday (4\/21) evening at the Meade County Extension Office just prior to a town hall related to the proposed animal shelter.<\/p>\n

The purpose of the meeting was to have magistrates to consider to advertise to seek bids for Information Technology contractors for the county’s computer networks. Currently, the county has two contract employees, who take care of the network and computer issues. <\/p>\n

Judge Executive Troy Kok asked magistrates to allow to advertise for two additional part time workers which would provide assistance and could eventually become a full time employ depending upon their skill sets. He said the IT workers are currently overworked with the workload they are attempting to oversee. Magistrates approved the request to advertise the positions. <\/p>\n

The court approved a resolution for the 2025 Kentucky Transportation Cabinet County Road Aid Funds and claims and transfers.<\/p>\n
