\nA Louisville man who was previously arrested and charged with murder has now had his case dismissed after the arrest of an Ohio man.<\/p>\n

Shawn Bailey, 33, was charged with the murder of 35 year-old Wilma Robertson, of Hanover, Indiana, after she was found dead during a welfare check on April 14.<\/p>\n
Police have since charged34 year-old Nigel Thomas, of Oxford, Ohio, with Robertson\u2019s murder. Thomas, who police say also goes by \u201cNati Bang,\u201d is accused of stabbing Robertson to death and engaging in an elaborate plan to frame Bailey.<\/p>\n
According to police, Thomas fabricated evidence to incriminate Bailey, including creating several social media accounts in Bailey\u2019s name and sending messages to Robertson\u2019s relatives as Bailey admitting to the murder.<\/p>\n
Bailey was released from jail on April 25, the same day Thomas was arrested.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe criminal justice system is ultimately a search for the truth. Multiple agencies across three states worked tirelessly in their pursuit of all investigative leads to uncover the crimes of Nigel Thomas and clear Shawn Bailey\u201d, Jefferson County Prosecutor David Sutter said in a press release.
