\nA woman is facing multiple charges after a traffic Thursday (05\/01) at the 73-mile marker of the Western Kentucky Parkway in Ohio County.<\/p>\n
\nA woman is facing multiple charges after a traffic Thursday (05\/01) at the 73-mile marker of the Western Kentucky Parkway in Ohio County.<\/p>\n
When the Ohio County Sheriff Deputy made contact, the driver of the vehicle wasn\u2019t able to provide a valid operator\u2019s license, proof of insurance, or registration. An Ohio County Sheriff\u2019s Office K-9 alerted on the vehicle, and a search of the vehicle was conducted.<\/p>\n
During the search, the deputy located suspected methamphetamine and items typically associated with the use of the drug.<\/p>\n
The suspect was arrested and transported to the Ohio County Detention Center.<\/p>\n
She was charged with the following:<\/p>\n
No Registration Plate
\nNo Registration Receipt
\nFailure of Non-Owner to Maintain Required Insurance
\nFailure to produce an Insurance Card
\nImproper Registration Plate
\nPossession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 1st Offense
\nDrug Paraphernalia- Buy\/Possess
\nLicense to be in Possession<\/p>\n
After being fingerprinted at the jail, it was discovered that the suspect had given the deputy another person\u2019s name and date of birth. She was correctly identified as Theresa Givens, and it was revealed that she was wanted by Kentucky Probation and Parole.<\/p>\n
Givens subsequently received additional charges.
