The Warren County Sheriff\u2019s Office responded to a call in the 8000 block of Cemetery Road, according to a news release.<\/p>\n
While on scene, a silver Lexus arrived, and the driver, identified as 30 year-old Aurea E. Hernandez of Antioch, claimed to be the cousin of a missing juvenile.<\/p>\n
Deputies say a search of Aurea Hernandez\u2019s vehicle uncovered a stolen Glock 42 pistol, cocaine, fentanyl, methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia on May 15, 2025, in Warren County.<\/p>\n
Deputies reported a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. Hernandez admitted to having an empty marijuana package but denied possessing anything else.<\/p>\n
A probable cause search of the vehicle uncovered a stolen Glock 42 pistol, cocaine, fentanyl, methamphetamine and trafficking amounts of narcotics, according to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office.<\/p>\n
Hernandez was charged with:<\/p>\n
Trafficking in a controlled substance (Cocaine, Fentanyl, Methamphetamine, Marijuana) \u2013 Enhanced
\nPossession of drug paraphernalia
\nReceiving a stolen firearm
\nPossession of a firearm by a convicted felon<\/p>\n
She is being held in the Warren County Regional Jail under a $25,000 cash bond and is scheduled to appear in court on May 20.<\/p>\n
The investigation is ongoing.
